MVP and SaaS product development

MVP and SaaS product development

A first working web product: architecture, backend, frontend, API, and admin — without extra scope.

For founders and teams that need a testable product for users or a pilot — not an endless design document.

About the service

An MVP is the smallest feature set that can validate demand or run a pilot. A SaaS layer adds users, roles, billing when needed, and a base for later growth.

The service fits when the idea is clear enough to separate “need now” from “nice later.” If scope is fuzzy, we narrow it together first — otherwise development spreads.

You get a working service with a clear architecture, not a throwaway prototype you cannot evolve.

Why it works

  • Scope sized for hypothesis testing

Only what delivers value and feedback ships in the release.

  • Foundation for growth

API, auth, and admin layers are shaped so you do not rewrite everything on step two.

  • Transparent process

We lock scope, done criteria, and delivery order before coding starts.

What's included

  • MVP definition

First-release features, constraints, and explicit out-of-scope items.

  • Architecture

Data model, service boundaries, auth approach, and deploy path.

  • Backend and API

Server logic, contracts, and input validation.

  • Frontend

Key user screens plus loading and error states.

  • Auth and users

Sign-up/sign-in, roles, and basic access control.

  • Admin and integrations

Admin panel and connections (payments, email, etc.) as needed.

What you get

  • A working first-version web service
  • Backend and documented APIs
  • Responsive user interface
  • Authentication and user management
  • Admin panel within the agreed scope
  • Source code and launch guide

How we work

  1. 01

    Product discussion

Audience, value, constraints, and MVP success criteria.

  2. 02

    Scope agreement

Release features, integrations, estimates, and delivery order.

  3. 03

    Development

Iterations with working builds and quality checks.

  4. 04

    Launch

Deploy, smoke-test scenarios, and hand off materials.

Technologies

  • Next.js

Client UI and SSR when needed

  • Hono / API

    Contract-first backend

  • SQLite / Drizzle

    Product data storage

  • Auth cookies

    User sessions

Pricing and timeline

A precise estimate depends on scope and constraints. Below are the factors that drive cost; I do not publish fixed prices without discussing the task.

  • MVP scope width
  • Number of roles and entities
  • Integrations and payments
  • Multi-tenant or white-label needs
  • Compliance and audit (if required)

FAQ

What do you treat as an MVP?

The feature set without which the product gives no value to the target user. Everything else is backlog after launch.

Do you design from scratch?

We can reuse an existing design system or ship a lean product UI. Full brand design is a separate scope if you need it.

Can we scale to SaaS later?

Yes, if the MVP has sound API, auth, and data boundaries. We discuss upfront whether multi-tenant is needed now or later.

Do you only work with startups?

No. An MVP approach also helps inside companies: a department pilot or a new digital product without an oversized spec.

How is pricing estimated?

By feature volume, integrations, and risk. I do not publish fixed price packs without talking through requirements.

Shall we discuss your project?

Tell me about the task. I will review the requirements and suggest a suitable approach.
